2 Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide In Virginia, Minn.
VIRGINIA, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police are investigating what appears to be a murder-suicide in the town of Virginia, Minn.
According to police, officers responded to a call for help around 8 p.m. Saturday on the 1800 block of Wolf Road. The 911 dispatcher told police a woman was screaming for help.
Another caller at 8:06 p.m. told police a man just shot his wife.
Officers arrived on scene and discovered that both 51-year-old Kimberly Grew and her estranged husband, 54-year-old Brian Grew, were dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Both are from Virginia.
Witnesses told police that Brian Grew allegedly shot and killed his estranged wife, and then shot himself.
An autopsy will be performed on Monday to determine the cause of death.
The Virginia Police Department was assisted by the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and Minnesota State Patrol.
