2 Arrested In Brooklyn Park Homicide
BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (WCCO) -- Two people have been arrested in connection with a teenage girl's homicide in Brooklyn Park last week.
According to police, the two suspects turned themselves in and were taken into custody. One was identified as 18-year-old Kivian Heard. The other, a juvenile, was not identified.
Brooklyn Park Police said they are not seeking any other suspects.
Seventeen-year-old Jennifer Scott, of Champlin, was shot to death at the Huntington Place Apartments, located in the 5800 block of 73rd Avenue in Brooklyn Park, late last Thursday evening.
Authorities said Scott died of a gunshot wound to the head.
