$2.99 Million Lottery Ticket Sold In Nicollet County
NICOLLET COUNTY (WCCO) -- A Hot Lotto ticket with a $2.99 million jackpot has been sold in Nicollet County Wednesday, according to the Minnesota State Lottery.
The winning ticket matched the number 1-6-13-25-27 and the Hot Ball of 15.
This is Minnesota's 10th Hot Lotto jackpot winner.
"This jackpot win comes exactly two months after Don Conrad of Grand Rapids won a $2.61 million Hot Lotto jackpot on Jan. 14," said Lotter Executive Director Ed Van Petten. "Hot Lotto has been lucky for our players – the last two jackpots were won in Minnesota."
The jackpot winner has one year to claim the prize. After that, he or she has 60 days to choose either the 25-year annuity option of $2.99 million or the cash option of $2.21 million before withholding ($1.5 million after withholding).
The ticket holder should sign the back of the ticket immediately, put it in a safe place and then call the Lottery's Public Relations department at 651-635-8271.
