15-Year-Old Charged After Making Bomb Threat
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged after allegedly making threats to "blow up" Roseville Area High School.
Police responded to a bomb threat at 12:53 p.m. on Tuesday at the Roseville high school, located at 1240 W. County Road B2.
School officials told police an anonymous caller left a voice mail message saying he would "blow up" the school at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
An investigation revealed the identity of the caller, who was later questioned by police. The teen told officers he made the bomb threat as a prank.
The Ramsey County Attorney's Office charged the teen with felony terroristic threats.
The Roseville Police Department is continuing to investigate to see if others were involved.
