1 Seriously Injured In Car-Cattle Truck Crash
LONG LAKE (WCCO) -- One person is in the hospital with a serious injury after a head on crash involving a cattle truck in Long Lake Monday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The Patrol says the accident, which occurred at 2:28 p.m., involved an Audi A6, a Honda Civic and a Peterbuilt Truck, which was carrying cattle.
According to the Patrol's report, the cattle truck was traveling eastbound on Hwy 12 when the driver noticed the Audi swerving, so the driver of the semi swerved to the right and hit a guard rail. The Audi then struck the semi and spun out.

The driver of the Audi was taken to the hospital with a serious injury.
Both the driver of the cattle truck and the Honda suffered no apparent injures.
WCCO-TV crews that were on scene report that some cattle were killed in the accident.
