1 Man Dead After Shot, Killed By Police
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) -- One man is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Bloomington, Minn.
According to Mark Stehlik, Bloomington Police responded to the 9150 Lyndale Apartments at 2:40 p.m. and found a person who had been stabbed. The person was transported to the hospital, but their status is unknown.
Police say they confronted the stabbing suspect who was wielding a knife. Stehlik said police shot and killed the suspect in the hallway of the apartment, but wouldn't say what happened that led up to the suspect's death.
The officer was not injured in the incident. Police are not releasing the officer's name or the suspect's name at this time.
