1 Killed In 2-Car Crash In East Bethel
EAST BETHEL, Minn. (WCCO) -- One person is dead after a Saturday morning accident in East Bethel, Minn., authorities say.
Officers from the Anoka County Sheriff's Department responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Viking Boulevard and Breezy Point Drive just before 9 a.m. Saturday.
Officers found a 24-year-old female from Blaine, Minn., dead at the scene. She was in an overturned vehicle.
The other vehicle had a 16-year-old driver and a 46-year-old passenger, both who were conscious, but injured. They were taken to Mercy Hospital by paramedics.
Police say the woman's car was traveling eastbound on Viking Boulevard, spinning out of control and into the lane of the other vehicle.
The name of the victim is being withheld until family has been notified.
