1 Hurt After Car Rear Ends Tanker Truck In Roseville
ROSEVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) – At least one person was seriously hurt Wednesday morning after a car rear-ended a tanker truck in Roseville, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities said the accident happened at around 3 a.m. on County Road C near Long Lake Road. A car rear-ended a tanker truck, which started the car on fire. The Minnesota State Patrol had to shut down both directions of County Road C for at least a few hours while the person in the car had to be extricated from the vehicle.
That victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital, and there is no update on their condition at this time. Authorities say the driver of the tanker truck was not injured.
The Minnesota State Patrol said the cause of the accident is still under investigation. County Road C was reopened just after 5 a.m.
