State Patrol: 71-Year-Old Man Dies After Vehicle Crashes In Straight River
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A man from New Richland is dead after his truck crashed Monday afternoon into a river south of Owatonna.
The Minnesota State Patrol identified the victim as 71-year-old Ray Eldon Mudgett.
Troopers say his pickup was driving south on Interstate 35 when it left the road and broke through the guardrail, crashing into the the Straight River.
Mudgett was the only person inside the pickup.
