1 Dead In Vehicle Vs. Bus Accident Near Austin
AUSTIN, Minn. (WCCO) -- A 31-year-old woman is dead after colliding into a school bus head-on.
Penny Engelman, of Austin, was driving a 2000 Chevy Cavalier south on Highway 218 when she collided head-on with the school bus, which was being used as a charter for a private group.
The State Patrol said there were 20 passengers on the bus and nine were treated and released at Austin Medical Center.
One was transferred to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
