1 Dead After Three Car Crash In Pine County
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – At least one person is dead after a three-vehicle crash in Pine County Tuesday night, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities responded to a report of crash involving multiple vehicles at 5:39 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 35 near mile marker 167 in Pine County. When authorities arrived, they learned that a 1999 Cadillac Seville, 1999 Chevy Silverado and 2001 Toyota Corolla had all been involved in the crash.
Authorities said the Cadillac Seville was traveling northbound and rear-ended the Toyota Corolla, causing the Seville to lose control and enter the southbound lane where it was broad-sided by the Chevy Silverado.
The driver of the Cadillac Seville was killed, while a 67-year-old Forest Lake man driving the Silverado suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol and the Pine County Sheriff's Office.
