1 Dead, 1 In Custody After Shooting In St. Paul
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One man is dead and another is in custody after an early morning shooting in St. Paul, according to authorities.
Police say they were called to the 1400 block of York Avenue after 3 a.m. Sunday, on a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.
Investigators arrested another man at the scene of the shooting, without incident. He was identified as 19-year-old Aloeng Vang, of St. Paul.
Police say they aren't looking for any other suspects in this case.
Details surrounding the shooting have not been released. A case against Vang will be presented to the Ramsey County Attorney's Office for possible criminal charges.
The victim's identity won't be released until the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office positively identifies him.
