1 Dead, 1 In Critical Condition After Uptown Shooting
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police are investigating a shooting that has left one man dead and another in critical condition.
It all happened outside Mortimer's, a popular restaurant in Minneapolis' uptown neighborhood near Lyndale and Franklin.
Authorities say the three men -- the shooter and the two victims -- all knew each other. They left at bar close and got into an argument.
One man then shot the other two.
That man is still at large. Police say the public is not at risk as this is an isolated incident.
The two victims were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where one man died -- the other was taken into surgery and is in critical condition.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Reginald Antwine Haynes, Sr., 31, of Minneapolis. His cause of death has been ruled a homicide, due to multiple gunshot wounds.
Police continue to investigate.
