Zoo Miami Closed Due To Power Outage
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – If you're planning to visit Zoo Miami Monday, you better make other plans.
The zoo is closed due to a power outage. According to Zoo Miami's Communication Director Ron Magill, a transformer blew on the grounds of the zoo which blew out all of the power.
Florida Power and Light is on the scene working to get the power back on.
That should happen Monday afternoon, according to Magill.
The Zoo is expected to re-open on Tuesday.
