Zimmerman's Attorneys Ask For Delay

ORLANDO (CBSMiami/AP) – Attorneys represent Neighborhood Watch leader George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin are asking the judge for more time to prepare their case.

In their motion made public on Monday, Zimmerman's attorneys said that they expected to take between 50 and 75 depositions, and more time is needed to review all of the prosecution's evidence.

They also plan to ask the judge to allow Martin's school records to be subpoenaed, as well as information from his Twitter and Facebook accounts during two hearings next week.

Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder for the fatal shooting of Martin last February in a gated community in Sanford.

Zimmerman, who claimed that he shot Martin in self defense, has pleaded not guilty.
