Woods & McIlroy Teamed Together At Cadillac Championship
DORAL (CBSMiami) – The last time Rory McIlroy was on the golf course, he walked off the course mid-round and quit. If he was hoping to avoid the attention at the Cadillac Championship this week, the first-round pairings didn't help him at all.
McIlroy is set to tee-off at the Cadillac Championship on the Blue Monster course at Doral with the next two highest-ranked players in the world: Tiger Woods and Luke Donald.
For McIlroy, he is hoping to finally finish a tournament this year. He started the year so poorly that he has yet to play more than two rounds in any of his three tournaments.
Woods has struggled as well this year and is coming off a sub-par performance in the Honda Classic last weekend. That said, Woods is a three-time winner at Doral and has typically played the course extremely well in the past.
