HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) -- One of two women injured in a vicious dog attack in Hollywood Friday is back at home.

Christina Bradford is still in shock. Her arms and leg bandaged, hands and fingers bruised bloodied from fighting off two 135 lb. Mastiff breed mixes.

Her screams got her husband's attention.

"They were being tossed around like rag dolls. I had to pound them off," said Robert, the victim's husband.

Christine was walking their dog Roxie, a 14-year-old terrier that loved corn, when their neighbor's dogs, Daisy and Duke, broke out of the trailer and attacked.

Christine tried to protect both Roxie and another neighbor, identified as Regina, who tried to help them. Witnesses described the horrific scene.

"One of the dogs on his wife, just tearing her like a rag doll. And she was just trying to protect the other lady. They were trying to protect each other," said Jessica Young.

Police used a taser to get one the dogs under control, while the other one took off.

Friday morning, animal control came by and the dogs' owner voluntarily turned them both over, deciding to put them down.

While he wasn't saying much, he did express his sympathy about his neighbors and the attack. He called the dogs his kids.

Meanwhile, the victim's husband is just trying to settle himself down.

"I can't close my eyes. All I can see is them being flapped around," Robert said.

One woman remains in the hospital.

Roxie, the lap dog, did not survive the attack.
