Woman Hospitalized After Crashing Into Gator
IMMOKALEE (CBSMiami/AP) - A southwest Florida woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after she crashed her truck into an alligator.
Thirty four year old Myrka Charles of Immokalee was driving her truck early Saturday morning when she struck the gator in the road. Charles lost control, flew through a wire fence before she crashed into a tree.
Charles was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital.
It was not immediately known what happened to the alligator.
