Celebrity Makeup Artist Accused Of Stealing Pricey Purses

BAL HARBOUR (CBSMiami) - A woman who rubs elbows with the rich and famous is under arrest, accused of stealing designer handbags numerous times from a store in Bal Harbour shops.
Police arrested celebrity makeup artist Leslie Lopez on Wednesday on three counts of grand theft.
Authorities said Lopez walked into a Saks Fifth Avenue on January 2nd and is seen in surveillance video grabbing a Fendi handbag valued at 2,750 dollars. She then allegedly placed it over her shoulder and walked out of the store without paying for it.

On April 11th, police said she is seen doing the same thing. This time with a Louis Vuitton handbag which has a price tag of 2,570 dollars.
Again on June 3rd, authorities said she walked in to the same store and walked out with another Louis Vuitton bag. This time she is allegedly seen concealing the bag with a shopping bag before walking out of the store.
Police said Lopez turned herself in before she was arrested.
In the past, Lopez tweeted out pictures of herself with fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker. She also did make up for singer Carrie Underwood and television personality Andy Cohen.
