Witness: Narcy Novack Handed A Pillow To Muffle Husband's Screams
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (CBSMiami/AP) – A witness said that barbells, a utility knife, and a pillow played a role in the murder of hotel heir, Ben Novack Jr.
Alejandro Garcia said that Ben Novack Jr.'s wife, Narcy Novack handed him a pillow to muffle her husband's screams as he beat Novack Jr. Ben is the son of the family that constructed the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach
Garcia testified for a third day Friday in the murder trial of Novack and her brother, Cristobal Velez.
Garcia said that Novack let him and an accomplice into the Novacks' New York hotel room on July 12, 2009.
He said the two men attacked Ben Novack Jr. as he slept, beating him with two barbells and slicing his eyes with a utility knife.
Garcia said that because Novack Jr. was screaming, Narcy Novack handed Garcia a pillow to place over his mouth.
