Winter Storms Still Wreaking Havoc On Travel
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - The repeated winter storms pummeling much of the country continue to cause travel headaches for drivers, air travelers, and others.
Luckily, as the snow began to melt in Atlanta, the bulk of delays has started to subside, but there are still plenty of travel headaches across the nation.
As of 9 a.m., there had been a total of 1,370 flights canceled across the United States with another 858 delayed.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport were reporting the most cancellations and delays.
Charlotte's airport reported 150 arrival cancellations and 71 arrival delays along with 101 departure cancellations and 52 departure delays. In Newark, the airport reported 124 arrival cancellations and 44 arrival delays plus 101 departure cancellations and 52 departure delays.
As of 4:00 p.m. Miami International Airport has experienced 17 cancelled flights – 14 cancelled arrivals and 3 cancelled departures to and from the following cities: New York City (La Guardia), Newark, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. (both airports), Hartford, Greensboro, and Charlotte. Also, officials reported 18 delayed arrivals and four delayed departures..
