Winning Mega Money Ticket Purchased In Miami
TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/AP) – Attention Mega Money players in Miami…did you purchase a ticket at Publix? If so, you may have some spare cash—just in time for the holidays.
One player matched all four numbers plus the Mega Ball, winning the top prize of $1.8 million.
The ticket, according to Florida Lottery officials, was purchased at a Publix in Miami.
One ticket also won $6,636.50 for picking 4-of-4; 31 tickets won $469 each for picking 3-of-4 plus the Mega Ball number; 845 tickets won $51 each for picking 3-of-4; 1,092 tickets won $27.50 each for picking 2-of-4 plus the Mega Ball; 9,331 won $3 each for matching one number plus the Mega Ball; 24,282 tickets won $2 each for picking 2-of-4; and 22,838 won a free Quick Pick ticket for matching the Mega Ball.
The numbers drawn Friday night were 12-18-43-44 and the Mega Ball was 14.
Another person in Miami, not winning quite as much but still bringing in a gracious sum, purchased a $111,329.21 winning ticket in Miami. There was a second winner as well, which will collect the same amount. The second winning ticket was purchased in Port Charlotte, according to lottery officials.
The 327 tickets matching four numbers won $109.50 each. Another 10,339 tickets matching three numbers won $9.50 each, and 100,816 tickets won a Quick Pick ticket for picking two numbers.
The numbers drawn Friday night were 1-4-17-20-22.
