Winderman: "What LeBron Wants Is What LeBron Gets"
Miami Heat beat writer for the Sun-Sentinel Ira Winderman joined the Big O Show on 560 WQAM to discuss the NBA, the Heat, the Cavaliers firing of David Blatt and what it means for LeBron James.
"Even when Pat Riley was totally in charge here, there still was a courtesy if there was something major to let LeBron know. You can believe all the fairy tales you want, but the bottom line is: while it made sense as a move because the lack of respect was there, LeBron James left and returned to Cleveland not because he wanted to be back in Akron or what he calls "the land" now to bring them a Championship. It's because he wanted a place where when he spoke, everyone listened."
"Of course everything is what LeBron wants is what LeBron gets. You can phrase it any way you want."
"I have no problem with that, just be honest with it. LeBron wanted a new coach? Fine, I'm good with that."
