Wildlife Officials Confident They've Caught Killer Disney Gator

LAKE BUENA VISTA (CBSMiami/AP) — Florida wildlife officials believe trappers have captured the alligator that killed a two year old boy at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has confirmed that they've suspended alligator trapping activities in the area based on the conclusions of expert analyses and observations by staff with extensive experience in investigating fatal alligator bites. A total of six alligators were removed.
On June 14th, Lane Graves, 2, was dragged into the Seven Seas Lagoon at the Grand Floridian Resort as his father frantically tried to fight off the animal.
Lane's body was recovered the next day. An autopsy showed the boy died from drowning and traumatic injuries.
The beach at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is across a lake from the Magic Kingdom.
Disney World has since put up signs warning people about alligators and snakes in the area and installed fences to keep them out of the water.
