West Palm Man Dies Snorkeling Off Key West
Key West (CBS4) - A West Palm Beach man died Saturday while snorkeling offshore of Key West.
Eugene Porter, 64, was snorkeling on board a commercial vessel operated by Fury Water Adventures. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has not released details of the circumstances surrounding Porter's death.
He was brought in to the Key West Bight and then transported by paramedics to Lower Keys Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of his death.
