Website Looks To Bring Love To Everyone

MIAMI (CBS4) - Valentine's Day is all about love. For those who have found it, it is a great thing. But for those who are still looking for love, there is now a new match making website designed to make it easier.

The matchmaking service is devoted specifically to help people with disabilities.

For Cheryl Price, finding the right person was a challenge. So she searched on line for help and found a professional matchmaker.

Ann Robbins, founder of Life Works Matchmaking, had to be honest with Price about finding a perfect match. Price, now a single mother after a divorce, is in a wheelchair. She suffered a spinal cord injury at birth.

"Their willingness to date a person in a wheelchair was a question to me. I did not know how easy or difficult it would be, but it could be a challenge," said Ann Robbins, Founder of www.edateability.com.

Price believes her challenge gives her a perspective on life.

"You learn to have a little more patience and appreciate what you have," said Cheryl Price to CBS4's Jorge Estevez.

Cheryl's story was so inspiring, it launched Edateability.com

"It changed the way I look at matching making. It changed what I wanted to do in terms of making a difference for single people," said Robbins.

The website helps disabled singles make connections to form friendships and possible romance.

"We have people with diabetes, health conditions, people who are deaf, and people who are sight impaired," said Robbins.

So far, the site has 35 hundred members with and without challenges, all just looking for love like Cheryl.

"I think when I find somebody, it will complete the puzzle," said Price. "I will be really happy with that."
