MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The daily drama that surrounds Dwyane Wade and his decision of which team to sign with is taking another sharp turn.
Wade, now back from his vacation in Spain, is in New York City for a few days and will be meeting with several teams on Wednesday.
According to The Vetrical, Wade is scheduled to meet with the Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls and Denver Nuggets, but not the Miami Heat.
While a meeting with the Heat is "possible too" it does speak volumes that Wade is back to exploring all his options, and this coming days after he cancelled a previously set meeting with the Bucks.
Wade is reportedly seeking a three-year deal that will pay around $25 million annually.
Of the teams involved, only Chicago has offered him a three-year deal. Miami and Denver have offered two years.
On Tuesday it was reported by The Vertical that Denver had offered Wade $52 million on that two-year deal. Earlier in the week Miami was linked to offering Wade $40 million over that span.
The Heat's brass may not have a meeting set with Wade on Wednesday but the team's owner Micky Arison might.
Last year it was a meeting with Arison that seemed to be the deciding factor in Wade re-signing with Miami.
Wade has also been linked to a potential reunion with LeBron James in Cleveland, but the Cavs would have to create more cap space to accommodate such a move.
That is unless Wade would be willing to take between $3.5 million and $5.6 million on one of the mid-level exceptions with Cleveland.
