Wade Questionable For Golden State Game
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – It's been more than a week since Dwyane Wade was removed from the lineup due to a foot injury. Unfortunately, his status still hasn't changed during the week.
Wade was not able to practice on Monday afternoon and he remains questionable for Tuesday's game against the Golden State Warriors.
Officially, the Heat have listed Wade's problem as a foot contusion, but given the length of time he has been out; it might be worse than first thought.
Luckily for the Heat, they haven't missed a beat without Wade in the lineup. The Heat have put together a three game winning streak without Wade and showed off a bench that should make the rest of the NBA fearful of what the Heat can really accomplish.
For his part, Wade has been itching to get back into the lineup, but so far the Heat aren't ready to rush him back into the lineup.
In other Heat news, Mike Miller returned from hernia surgery Monday to practice with the team. ESPN.com reported that Miller could gain some playing time by the end of the road trip.
Heat center Eddy Curry also practiced with the Heat for the first time this season on Monday, ESPN reported. The team hasn't said when they may try to get the 7-foot center playing time.
