Wade May Miss Clippers Game
LOS ANGELES (CBSMiami) – The Miami Heat may be without Dwyane Wade again Wednesday night when they play the Los Angeles Clippers.
According to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald, Wade did not take part in the morning shootaround Wednesday morning at the Staples Center because of a sprained foot. Wade is listed as a game-time decision.
According to the Herald, Wade sprained his left foot in the third quarter of the Heat's 113-110 victory against the Houston Rockets. Wade stepped on Chris Bosh and turned his foot and left the game. He played in the fourth quarter, but didn't score a point.
Wade has been battling nagging injuries for a few years and underwent offseason knee surgery, which he has reportedly fully recovered from before the season started.
During the Heat's current road trip, Wade has played in two of the three games and scored 19 points against the Rockets despite the injury.
On the season, Wade is averaging 18.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game along with 1.29 steals and 1 block.
