Wade & James Mock Nowitzki Before Game 5
DALLAS (CBSMiami.com) – Call it cosmic payback. When Dwyane Wade went down in the first quarter of Game 5 Thursday night, it seemed to be for his actions earlier.
As the Heat were making their way through the bowels of the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Heat stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade mocking the health of Dallas Mavericks superstar Dirk Nowitzki.
Nowitzki had battled a sinus infection and a fever over 100 degrees Fahrenheit during Game 4's victory over the Heat.
Wade and James made motions to their mouths like they were covering up coughs as they walked through the American Airlines Arena. While making each other laugh, the actions sparked a little controversy in Dallas.
And it may have been the latest addition to the fire that is burning inside the Dallas Mavericks.
That's because all Dirk and the Mavericks did last night was torch the Heat from the field and send the series back to Miami with a 3-2 series lead.
