Video Extra: Mitt Romney Speaks With Reporters

TAMPA (CBSMiami) - With voters headed to the polls in the Florida GOP Primary, apparent front runner Mitt Romney spoke with reporters Tuesday morning outside of his Tampa headquarter, after a brief visit with volunteers.

Despite his lead in the polls in the key state of Florida, Romney told reporters he is prepared to fight his way to the nomination, after Newt Gingrich promised his supporters he is in the race all the way to the GOP convention, which will also be held in Tampa.

Romney said first, he needs to line up the more than 1100 delegates needed to the win the nomination.

"This could be a long process of going state-to-state and getting support in each state," he said. "I intend to do that. "
