Veterans Job Expo Thursday In Sunrise
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Many men and women who served overseas in the military have found it difficult to find a job when they return home at the end of their tour.
On Thursday, a free Veterans Job Expo is being held at the DoubleTree (Sawgrass) Hotel in Sunrise until 2 p.m.
More than two dozen companies are represented at the career expo. Jobs available range from entry to senior level positions with salaries anywhere from $24,000 to $112,000 annually.
A few of the companies looking to hire are Home Depot, Loews Hotel, Caribbean Cruise Lines, Coventry Healthcare of Florida and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
