University Of Miami Researchers Developing Concussion Pill

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Researchers at the University of Miami are working on developing a pill that could help treat concussions.
A Canada-based research company is providing the university's medical program with a $16 million grant to help find a treatment plan.

They will work in phases and look at the effects of cannabinoids derived from hemp.
They believe a compound of it will reduce brain cell inflammation, headaches and other symptoms associated with concussions.
