Universal Orlando Raises Parking Price
ORLANDO (CBSMiami) - If you're heading to Orlando to visit a certain boy wizard or have some fearful fun during Halloween Horror Nights, it's going to cost you a little more.
Universal Orlando has increased the price of parking in its garage from $17 to $20.
The increase comes days after Disney announced increases for annual passes and parking fees.
Disney replaced the popular Florida Seasonal, Annual, Premium and Premium Plus Annual Passes with "Silver," "Gold," "Platinum" and "Platinum Plus" passes.
The Silver Pass sells for $414.29 and the Gold Pass sells for $584.69, both have blackout dates. The Platinum Pass sells for $797.69 and is good every day of the year. The Florida Weekday Select Pass is still available for $275.84.
While the prices for the annual passes have gone up, the good news is that they now include parking.
The cost of parking at the Walt Disney World Resort went from $17 to $20 per vehicle per day.
Universal's higher-priced passes include free parking.
