UM Changes Date Of USF Game
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The University of Miami's home football game against the University of South Florida will be one week earlier than expected due to Atlantic Coast Conference scheduling problems, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
The game was originally scheduled for November 24, but instead will be played on November 17. Last year's game ended 6-3 with the Canes on top.
UM's ACC schedule has been delayed because the conference was waiting for Florida State University to replace West Virginia in their non-conference schedule. The Noles will play Savannah State instead of WVU later this year.
Miami has a loaded non-conference schedule this season including games against USF, Kansas State (September 8), Notre Dame (October 6) in Chicago, and Bethune-Cookman (October 13).
The Canes will start spring football practice at the beginning of March and have the spring game on April 14.
