UF's Leon Orr Facing Drug Charges
GAINESVILLE (CBSMIAMI/AP) - The Florida Gators defensive tackle Leon Orr is facing charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The University of Florida freshman was cited on Jan.10 after a University Police Department officer searched his dorm room.
According to the officer, he found what looked like a "baggy of a green leafy substance, a glass pipe and rolling papers."
Orr later admitted to owning the drug, pipe and rolling papers found on his desk and bedside table.
While he was arrested, Orr is currently out on bond. Both charges are considered misdemeanors.
His arrest is the ninth since Will Muschamp took over as University of Florida's head coach.
The Clearwater native is scheduled to be in court on Feb.8.
