Two Women Killed In I-75 Crash
HIALEAH (CBS4) - Two women were killed in a violent rollover crash on I-75 in north Miami-Dade Wednesday morning.
Now the Florida Highway Patrol is checking to see if the women were driving the wrong way no the highway before the crash.
Witnesses reportedly said that an older model Ford Escort for was heading south in the northbound lanes of the highway when it slammed into a Chevy Camaro between Northwest 138th Street and Miami Gardens Drive, according to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald.
Chopper4 over the scene spotted the Camaro, with a crushed roof and severe damage to its front end, dozens of yards from the highway in center divide. The 18-year old who was driving the Camaro was taken to Palmetto General where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not released the names of the two people who died.
