Say Goodbye To Grace, TD 8 Is A Fish Storm

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Say goodbye to Tropical Depression Grace.
The National Hurricane Center has issued its last update on the storm after downgrading it to a remnant low. Meanwhile they are keeping tabs on Tropical Depression Eight which doesn't pose a threat to any land mass.
At 11 a.m., what was left of Grace was about 825 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. Satellite data indicated that Grace no longer has a closed circulation and is now an open wave.
It had maximum sustained winds of 30 mph as it moved to the west at 18 mph. This general motion is expected to continue during the next 48 hours.
Meanwhile Tropical Depression Eight was about 260 miles east-southeast of Bermuda.
The system's maximum sustained winds were 35 mph as it moved to the east-southeast at 3 mph.
Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the depression is expected to become a tropical storm later today or tonight.
On the forecast track, the center will pass well east of Bermuda tonight.
There are no watches or warnings posted for this storm.
