Two In Custody After Shooting Leads To Police Pursuit In West Miami-Dade

LAUDERHILL (CBSMiami) – Police have two people in custody after a shooting led to a chase that ended in West Miami-Dade Thursday afternoon.
Lauderhill police said they received a call of a shooting in a residential neighborhood and a description of the vehicle involved.
A nearby officer spotted the vehicle two blocks away. The officer pursued the vehicle until it crashed at 61st Ave. and 23rd St.
Authorities had two people in custody and were searching for third suspect.
The victim of shooting was transported to Broward General Hospital in critical condition.
The circumstances of shooting are not known at this time.
