HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) -- Authorities have arrested a 24-year-old man for having sexually explicit images of children on his computer.
On Wednesday, August 24th, Hollywood Police responded to David Michael Pulju's place of work in Miramar and took him into custody.
Detectives, in conjunction with the South Florida Internet Crimes against Children Task Force (ICAC), began their investigation in May 2016, eventually discovering more than 50 images of male children engaging in sexual acts on Pulju's computer.
Many were obtained through Twitter, which submitted a cyber tip to police explaining that Pulju's account had posted apparent child porn on the site, according to the arrest report.
Pulju admitted to officers that he acquired many of the images through Twitter by searching for specific buzz words.
Pulju was charged with 11 counts of obscene material.
