Nate Downgraded To Tropical Depression
MIAMI (CBS4) – After battering itself for several hours over Veracruz, Mexico, what once was once Tropical Storm Nate has been downgraded to a tropical depression.
At 5 p.m., the center of the system was located 30 miles south-southwest of Tuxpan, Mexico with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph. Nate is moving to the west-northwest near 8 mph.
A Tropical Storm Warning for Mexico from Tuxpan to Veracruz has been discontinued.
Nate is forecast to continue moving inland throughout the day and dissipate on Monday.
Nate could produce up to two inches of rain over Veracruz.
