TD Arlene Dissipates Over Mexico
MIAMI (CBS4) - Tropical Depression Arlene dissipated over the high and rugged terrain of Mexico' Sierra Madre mountains, the National Weather Service reported late Thursday.
The storm spent most of the day drenching central Mexico as it moved westward across the country's interior region.
The first storm of this year's Atlantic Hurricane Season came ashore early Thursday in the Cabo Rojo area.
Officials are still warning residents in the area that the storm could still produce heavy rain, possible flooding and fierce winds.
