TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami/NSF) - Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump offered some digs Wednesday after former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush endorsed Ted Cruz for the GOP nomination.
Trump alluded in Twitter posts to Bush's presidential campaign, which ended Feb. 20 after poor performances in early Republican contests.
Low energy Jeb Bush just endorsed a man he truly hates, Lyin' Ted Cruz. Honestly, I can't blame Jeb in that I drove him into oblivion!

I think having Jeb's endorsement hurts Lyin' Ted. Jeb spent more than $150,000,000 and got nothing. I spent a fraction of that and am first!

Bush endorsed Cruz on Wednesday as Republican leaders seek to block Trump from getting the nomination.
In Bush's announcement, he said that for "the sake of our party and country, we must move to overcome the divisiveness and vulgarity Donald Trump has brought into the political arena, or we will certainly lose our chance to defeat the Democratic nominee and reverse President Obama's failed policies."
