DORAL (CBSMiami) – Donald Trump is weighing-in on the prison escape of drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman – once again making controversial remarks about Mexico.
The Republican presidential candidate took to Twitter, tweeting out:
Mexico's biggest drug lord escapes from jail. Unbelievable corruption and USA is paying the price. I told you so!

He then took a jab at his fellow political competitors.
Can you envision Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton negotiating with 'El Chapo', the Mexican drug lord who escaped from prison? ....

His comments come after he ignited a firestorm with his remarks on Mexican immigrants during his campaign launch in June.
Trump said illegal Mexican immigrants were "drug smugglers, criminals and rapists."
Since then, Univision and NBC cancelled their plans to air Miss USA, of which Trump is part owner.
Sunday night, the Miss USA pageant aired on the small cable channel called "Reelz." Trump missed the event because he is campaigning in Phoenix.
