Tropical Storm Lorenzo Weakens
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Tropical Storm Lorenzo began to weaken Wednesday morning.
At 11 a.m., the 13th tropical storm of the season was about 955 miles east of Bermuda. It was moving to the east at 6 mph. Its maximum sustained winds had dropped to 45 mph.
The National Hurricane Center said the system poses no threat to land.
Lorenzo is expected to take a turn to the northeast on Thursday. Over the next day or so, forecasters say Lorenzo will continue to weaken and could be nothing more than a remnant area of low pressure by Friday.
