Tropical Storm Lorenzo Strengthens A Bit
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Tropical Storm Lorenzo strengthened a bit Tuesday morning, but it's still a fish storm heading away from us.
At 11 a.m., the 13th tropical storm of the season was about 785 miles east of Bermuda. It was moving to the east-northeast at 8 mph. Its maximum sustained winds had climbed to 50 mph.
The National Hurricane Center said the system poses no threat to land.
Lorenzo is expected to continue on an east-northeast track through Wednesday when it is expected to weaken.
