Tropical Storm Fernand Dissipates Over Mexico
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Tropical Storm Fernand has dissipated over Mexico.
The last advisory was issued at 5 p.m.
Fernand's winds were at 30 mph and the remnants will move west at 9 mph. This motion is expected to continue over the next day or so.
Fernand is expected to produce 4 to 8 inches of rain over Veracruz, Hidalgo, Northern Puebla, southern Tamaulipas and eastern San Luis Potosi with isolated maximum amounts near 12 inches.
The rain could cause life threatening flash floods or mud slides.
