Tropical Depression Bill Soaking Texas, Oklahoma

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Tropical Depression Bill is making a sloppy mess out of parts of south central Texas and Oklahoma.
At 11 a.m., the center of the storm was about 40 miles south of Ft. Worth. It had maximum sustained winds of 35 mph and was moving to the north at 12 mph.
Flash Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of eastern Texas and over parts of western Ohio.
The National Hurricane Center said the system continues to maintain a well-defined cyclonic circulation with healthy rainbands north of its center. Bill is forecast to continue heading north and be over the Dallas-Ft. Worth area Wednesday afternoon and into eastern Oklahoma on Thursday.

Bill is expected to gradually weaken when it reaches southern Missouri on Friday.
The system is expected to produce up to 8 inches of rain over eastern Texas and eastern Oklahoma with some areas getting as much as 12 inches. These rains may produce life threatening flash floods.
