Tropical Depression #6 Forms In Far Eastern Atlantic
MIAMI (CBS4) - In addition to Tropical Storm Ernesto, forecasters at the National Hurricane Center are watching Tropical Depression #6 which formed late Friday night in the Atlantic.
As of 11 p.m., the system was located 385 miles west-southwest of the southernmost Cape Verde Islands with maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour.
The storm is moving to the west-northwest at 16 miles per hour.
There are no watches or warnings in effect at this time.
Forecasters expect the depression to strengthen in the next day or so.
