Tropical Depression #11 Meandering Around Atlantic
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Tropical Depression #11 remains far out in Central Atlantic Ocean and poses no threat to land.
At 11 p.m., the center of the system was about 1,190 miles northeast of the northern Leeward Islands. The depression had maximum sustained winds of 35 mph and it was moving to the east-northeast at 9 mph.
The storm is expected to continue to move to the northeast followed by a turn to the east early Monday. Some strengthening is expected and it could become a tropical storm by Monday.
